Sabrina Peterson

Sabrina Peterson

LPC-MHSP

My journey toward becoming a counselor began early. I was just five years old when I asked my father—a psychiatrist—if his job was fun. He replied, “I have the best job in the world because I help people feel happier in their own skin every day.” That moment shaped the path I would eventually follow. While life took me on a few detours, I never let go of the dream to help others create meaningful change in their lives.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Texas State University and my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from St. Edward’s University. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I’ve provided therapy in a range of clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, correctional facilities, and private practice.

I specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, phobias, addiction, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, and psychosis. My approach is client-centered and integrative, combining CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. Together, we’ll work to identify and reframe unhelpful patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and strengthen your internal coping toolbox.

Above all, I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space—where your story is honored, and your healing is the priority.

LPC-MHSP

I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, and families, providing compassionate and effective therapy tailored to each individual’s needs. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, adoption and foster care challenges, trauma, and abuse. My goal is to help you regain hope, develop practical solutions, and process trauma so you can achieve a higher quality of life.

As a person-centered therapist, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support meaningful and lasting change.

I am committed to offering unconditional positive regard and will empower you to reach your therapeutic goals. Many of my clients who previously struggled with years of ineffective treatment have found progress and healing through EMDR and a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Take the first step today—I have immediate openings and can schedule your intake within 1-2 weeks. Reach out now to begin your journey toward healing.

Rhett Reynolds

Rhett Reynolds

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

With so many choices, the process can feel overwhelming. In my experience—both as a therapist and as someone who’s sat on the other side of the room—the most meaningful part of therapy is the relationship itself. Trust, safety, and genuine connection are the foundation for healing.

I don’t pretend to have all the answers or to specialize in every issue. What I do bring is openness, deep compassion, and a sincere commitment to walking alongside people as they navigate their pain, questions, and growth. My approach is grounded in creating a nonjudgmental, welcoming space—one where you can feel safe enough to be honest, vulnerable, and fully yourself.

If you’re curious about whether we might be a good match, you’re welcome to reach out for a brief phone consultation. There’s no charge for that conversation.

Some of the areas I’m especially passionate about include:

  • Low self-worth and self-esteem
  • Anxiety, depression, and fear
  • Alcohol and substance use
  • Guilt, shame, and self-judgment
  • Spirituality and personal identity
  • Childhood trauma
  • Emotional, physical, and sexual abuse
  • Interpersonal and relationship challenges

I understand how daunting it can be to take the first step. I still remember how nervous and unsure I felt when I first reached out for help. What made the difference for me was finding a therapist who made me feel safe and truly seen. That’s the kind of presence I aim to offer every client. I also take medicare.

Cindy Jobe-Yago

Pre-Licensed LPC-MHSP Under Clinical Supervision

I am passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. My personal and professional experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of life’s complexities, allowing me to guide individuals through challenges with compassion and evidence-based strategies. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and resilience, and my role is to help clients uncover their strengths, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

With a foundation in cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and strengths-focused approaches, I work collaboratively with clients to address issues such as anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, and relationship concerns. While I am still completing the licensure process, my dedication to professional growth and client well-being remains at the core of my practice. My goal is to help individuals find balance, confidence, and clarity as they navigate their unique paths forward.

Sophie Moorman

Sophie Moorman

Pre-Licensed LPC-MHSP Under Clinical Supervision

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Charleston Southern University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child and Family Studies, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

My clinical experience includes working in an inpatient setting, where I supported individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns. This environment helped me develop strong intervention skills, as well as deepened my ability to support individuals across different stages of their journey, adapting care to honor each person’s unique needs and experiences. I have the most experience working with children and adolescents, though I welcome all individuals 10 and above.

I am especially passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, struggling with self-worth, and behavioral challenges. I understand that these experiences can feel overwhelming and I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and capable of growth. I take a strengths-based approach, helping clients recognize their existing resilience while building new skills to navigate challenges.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual, meeting them where they are at, and collaborating with clients to set meaningful goals that move at a pace that feels comfortable for them.

Pre-Licensed, LPC-MHSP, NCC - Under Clinical Supervisiom

Having experienced the transformation that therapy brought to my life and the lives of others, I am eager to help clients succeed in the day-to-day grind as well as conquer fears, worries, questions of “Who am I?”, and other challenges. Therapy equips us with tools for positive change. This change might not begin immediately and may occur slowly. Yet with the client’s perseverance and the therapist’s support, new growth will emerge from this partnership.

I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am pursuing a master’s degree in School Counseling. To empower clients to achieve wellness, I use a client-centered approach while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Whether you are looking for more clarity about a situation or are needing assistance in the midst of a crisis, I want to be here for you. I will be accepting tele-health clients starting May 12, 2025. Please reach out to our practice to schedule an appointment. Youth and low-income clients are especially welcome.

I also welcome those who wish to incorporate faith or Christian perspectives into counseling, honoring your preferences and values throughout the process.

I work from a client-centered, relational foundation and take an eclectic approach, integrating elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), and somatic-based practices. “I Don’t Want To Dig Up The Past”

Many people worry that therapy will force them to relive painful experiences or open old wounds. While therapy can involve exploring the past, the focus is on understanding how it impacts your present and empowering you to move forward, not stay stuck in pain.
